Portal at Longfellow Creek

Poster Design for Sound Transit Art Program in collaboration with LUMI

This temporary “portal” resting in Longfellow Creek acts as a symbolic guidepost highlighting the significance of this West Seattle stream. Historically a fishery, recent conservation efforts to remove toxic pollutants have allowed salmon to return home. Connecting past, present and future, this portal becomes a visual symbol of the doorway for returning aquatic life.
