Sun Recipes

After visiting my childhood home, I noticed that the curtains had a square-shaped "stain" where the sunlight had come through the window. Inspired by that image, I set black construction paper in the window over the course of one winter. After the season ended, I took each piece off the window, noticing the color difference between sides of each paper. I further experimented by folding and crumpling these works into various forms.
